My New Passion

A year and half ago, I asked myself a question:”What do I enjoy doing the most?” I played football for the last 27 years of my life and I was one of the best in the world because I was one of the most focused.

Post NFL-career, I was a living example of trying to do too much and too many things. I had started consulting for a nutrition company, was involved in real estate, got involved in race horses, making movies, I wrote a book, and was doing some t.v. commentating. Plus I was a dad and a husband. I had no balance in my life and my relationships were struggling.

So that question I asked myself was a powerful one. And the answer that came to me was that I really enjoyed helping people the most. Being a professional athlete fueled my passion and my ego. Hollywood was doing the same, all the projects I was working on were taking me away from my family, wife, friendships, and relationships, and they were struggling as a result. So I had to refocus.

That question was the inspiration behind Nutrition53. That is why I decided to start my own nutrition company. Because I really believed that my experience working with experts, doctors, nutritionists, I really had knowledge to help people overcome challenges in their lives and in turn help them perform at an optimal level.

Like waking up everyday and going into the locker room, my mission now is helping people and making a difference in their lives. I get so excited going into the office everyday, developing new products, working with people, and developing relationships that truly will impact humanity.

    Romo,

    Huge fan!!!

I knew Ed McCabe for the past few years and was snowed by his stories of playing with the Raider’s.

I have an autographed picture of what I thought was Ed but turns out it was you.

Would love an autographed copy of your book.

You are one of the last great warriors in football.

    TK
